He practices in the field of Information & Communication Technology, where he has achieved a significant experience with more than 25 years of legal practice. Stably recommended as leading professional by Chambers and Legal500, he is one of the nationally recognized experts in the field of personal data protection, providing assistance to multinational companies and groups, including in different international jurisdictions, in the implementation of data governance and data protection compliance projects. Thanks to his experience, he has been listed as Appointed member of the European Pool of Experts for support and advice to the European Data Protection Board, while at the national level he is Vice President of the Italian Privacy Institute.


He provides specialized legal and technical assistance to companies and public entities with reference to regulatory compliance related to the major national and European legislative acts implementing the Digital Agenda 2030 (ex: GDPR, EU regulations on digital markets, digital services and e-commerce, European data governance, markets in crypto-assets, cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, etc). He assists companies and groups in all aspects related to the protection of intellectual and industrial property assets, including IP protection on electronic communication networks.


He is Professor of Legal Informatics and Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Law at LUISS Guido Carli University of Rome. He is a member of the teaching staff of the Italian School for the Judiciary.


He is a speaker at the most important national and international conferences where he is frequently invited to give lectures on practical issues related to Information & Communication Technology, AI and Data Protection.
