From 1984 to 2015 at Studio Pirola Pennuto Zei e Associati, where he held the following roles:
- from 1992 Equity Partner;
- from 1996 Italian Tax Representative at Coopers & Lybrand network;
- from 1999 Tax SLL (Tax Service Line Leader – Italian representative) of PricewaterhouseCoopers network in Italy;
- from 1999 to 2013 Executive Vice-president;
- in 2003 he took care of the split from PricewaterhouseCoopers network;
- from 2013 Managing Partner.

 

He practices domestic and international tax for multinational groups, banks, insurance companies and private equity investors. He has experience also in fashion, real estate and advisory services.

He serves as Statutory Auditor and Non-Executive Director of financial institutions and insurance companies, as well as of companies, also listed, belonging to domestic and international groups.

He received assignments from the Treasury Ministry relating to the receivership of securities firms and trust companies.

 

He advised on privatizations of important State companies.

 

 

He advised on important and also international IPO and M&A deals.

 

He is the trusted advisor of important Italian families.

 

In the last five years, he focused on charities as well, taking roles in Foundations.

 

For several years he has been awarded as one of the best Italian tax advisors by ITR (International Tax Review).
