Corporate liability (Legislative Decree 231/2001)

FIVELEX provides advice in matters of administrative liability of corporations in relation to crimes committed in their interest or for their benefit (Legislative Decree 231/2001), with regard to both the phases of design of organisation and management models and ongoing support for supervisory bodies, with a particular focus on the prevention of financial offences (such as market abuse and money laundering) and also through longstanding cooperation with other firms specialising in corporate criminal law.

Various FIVELEX professionals have direct experience serving on corporate bodies, including supervisory bodies, which allows FIVELEX to benefit from their in-depth knowledge of the functioning and needs of corporations.

Within this area, FIVELEX has particular experience and expertise in advising foreign companies on corporate liability.
